Nurseries across the Trust
In response to the growing demand in our communities for accessible and high-quality early years education, Consortium Trust is taking proactive steps to expand its provision, including offering care for two-year-olds at selected schools. We are at the forefront of meeting the evolving needs of families by expanding EY provision to include two-year-olds. Building on the success of Southwold Primary School, St Edmunds and Glebeland are now set to offer term-time care for two-year-olds. This initiative not only supports working parents but also aligns with government efforts to provide free childcare for this age group, ensuring children receive a strong educational foundation from an early age.
Since welcoming Kirkley Nursery into our Trust family, we have further strengthened our commitment to early childhood education. Kirkley Nursery offers comprehensive childcare for children from six months to four years old.
At Consortium Trust, we prioritise the development of the whole child. We ensure communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and physical development are the fundamental foundation and building blocks for the specific areas and future learning.
The expansion of EY provision across our Trust schools highlights our dedication to community engagement and addressing local needs. Consortium Trust is committed to providing exceptional early years education that sets a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Through strategic expansion and partnerships like Kirkley Nursery, we are proud to lead initiatives that support families and nurture the development of our youngest community members. Together, we continue to strive for educational excellence and equitable access to early childhood education, ensuring every child has the best starting point for their educational journey.
