Locality Committee Impact

Across Consortium Trust, we are fortunate to have the support of our locality committees. As the Academy Head at Winterton, I deeply value the contributions and readiness of our Locality committee members to support the school. During a recent termly LC meeting, our committee members expressed a desire to offer more support but were unsure how to do so effectively. In response, we developed a plan of actions for LC members to complete before each termly LC meeting.

These actions are designed to help our LC members learn more about the school and report back to the termly community committees, where LCs from other schools also attend. This approach ensures that everyone is well-informed and able to contribute meaningfully to our shared goals.

Within each school or hub, individual committee members represent one of the following subcommittees: Pupil Experience Team, Parent Parliament Team, and Safeguarding Team. These committees meet termly across our trust to share ideas and collaborate.

If you are interested in becoming a locality committee member, please contact your school office manager.
