Glebeland Primary school is celebrating the arrival of their new head teacher and their new Ofsted report.

When pupils arrive each day, they are welcomed warmly. They enjoy coming to this small, happy school.

Following their inspection in December, the school community is thrilled to share the recognition from Ofsted that "Pupils attend regularly because they are excited about what they are going to learn" and " They know that their teachers have high expectations of what they can achieve" they also " work hard to reach these expectations". The report goes on to say that pupils with SEND achieve well and that pupils are proud of their school, valuing their positive relationships with each other and sharing a sense of ambition.

These are wonderful foundations for the newly appointed Academy Head to build upon in her new role.  Glebeland has warmly welcomed Miss Emma Davies to the school and are eager to enjoy her passion and experience for education.

Miss Davies has already made her mark at Glebeland with her enthusiasm to bring more families into the school Nursery and has held two successful open mornings already.

Glebeland has a beautiful Early Years provision lead by an experienced and dedicated teacher. The Early Years area boasts spacious enclosed grounds enhanced by a calm and creative indoor provision, offering a wide range of engaging activities for pupils from 2 years old.

The school has three small classes offering personalised and nurturing provision to its caring and hardworking pupils. The extensive school grounds support a wide range of outdoor learning opportunities too.

As part of Consortium Trust, Glebleand primary school is linked to Barnby and North Cove Primary as well as the Warren Special School, which is soon to open its brand new Key Stage 1 class on the site too.

Glebeland really has undergone a huge transition recently and Trust leaders are grateful to the dedicated team who work hard each day, to support the needs of all the pupils, providing an ambitious curriculum and a "happy school".

We hope that parents and the local community will support us in welcoming Miss Davies to the school and enjoy building new relationships with Glebeland Primary in this exciting phase, rich in new and impactful opportunities.
